1. Acceptance
By accessing the AMK Research website (the "Site") you accept these Terms and Conditions in full. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Site.
2. The Office
The Site is operated by AMK Research, a mediating institution registered in Geneva, Switzerland. References to "we", "our", and "the Office" mean AMK Research.
3. Permitted use
You may read and reference the editorial materials published on the Site for personal, academic, and institutional research purposes. Brief quotation with attribution is welcomed. Bulk copying, redistribution, or republication of essays, scholar profiles, or institutional materials requires prior written permission from the editorial office.
4. Intellectual property
All editorial materials, layouts, and identifying marks on the Site are the intellectual property of AMK Research or its contributing scholars, as appropriate. Contributors retain the rights to their substantive scholarship under the terms set out in their individual engagement letters.
5. Faculty Portal and confidentiality
Access to the Faculty Portal is restricted to verified scholars and faculty associated with the Office. Materials accessible through the portal are confidential. Sharing credentials or redistributing portal materials without authorisation may terminate access and engage further remedies.
6. Editorial independence; no advice
Materials published on the Site reflect the considered views of their authors. They are intended as scholarship and editorial commentary. Nothing on the Site constitutes legal, investment, or strategic advice on which any reader should rely without independent professional counsel.
7. Third-party links
The Site may link to materials hosted by third parties. The Office does not control and is not responsible for the content or availability of those materials.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Office's liability for any matter arising from your use of the Site is limited to the direct losses reasonably foreseeable at the time of your access. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Switzerland. Any dispute that cannot be resolved by correspondence shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Geneva.
10. Contact
Questions about these Terms may be sent to office@amk-research.org.
